Oh my word…William Shatner’s been singing again. If you aint heard him before his albums are on Spotify (that’s not a joke).
He’s got a great speaking voice – and this is the approach he takes to singing. All he has to do is talk the words over the music. But he gets that wrong by being out of time from the start. He’s everyone’s embarrassing uncle.
The backing girls look so nervous, trying desperately not to clash. He’s clearly been praised unconditionally since he was Captain Kirk. That, combined with age, leaves a man not giving a shit and doing what he wants. Brilliant.
Still not a patch on his duet with that Lin Yu Chun kid.
