While we’ve been enjoying the natural banter between Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan in The Trip, we had no idea everyone’s favourite North Nofolk DJ was back in action. Coogan has always kept an eye out for up coming comedy through his company Baby Cow, and this time he’s got Tim Key in tow. You might recognise him from the show The Cowards, or for his comedic poetry which he read on Charlie Brooker’s screenwipe.
The videos released so far are below. What is most exciting is that Alan Partridge is as good as ever, which bodes well for the film which was announced earlier this year. Armando Iannucci will be playing his part in this and given last year’s series of ‘The Thick of It’ it looks like this won’t let down the franchise.
We might be criminally behind on this one, but it’s good enough to watch twice.
