Simon Cowell divides opinion, but not many celebs have come out to put him down recently – most probably as they’re scared about what it could do for their career. To slag him off safely you need to be a huge legendary star who doesn’t have to worry about their future in music. Enter Ronnie Wood.
Here’s what he had to say:
“I’m not a fan of X Factor. I definitely wouldn’t want to be a judge on it. I think it will work in America because of Cheryl Cole – they’ll put up with her easily.
“Everyone will tune in to see her. But when they see Cowell they will all switch off.”
He also commented that he wonders “what Simon Cowell’s talent is”.
While we don’t really agree, we think it’s nice for Simon to get the odd slagging off in public, just to keep his feet somewhere in the vicinity of the ground.
