Rihanna and Ciara have gone to war on Twitter! We love waking up to a Twitter war…it’s just difficult to figure out who said what and who is right – so here’s the details. It all started when Ciara apeared on E!’s Fashion Police. Here’s the video clip:
Woah! That’s a big bold statement there from Ciara.
Rihanna though came back with an equallity bithcy statement on Twitter that is still making us giggle:
“My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme”
Then it all got a bit aggressive on Ciara’s side:
“Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off stage.”
Riri was undaunted though, coming back with another hilarious jibe:
“U gangsta huh? Haaa.” “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”
It’s all calmed down though now (booooo!)..and they seem to be making piece with each other.
So who was right? Well, perhaps Ciara did have good reason and Rihanna had been nasty or perhaps she was just carried away in the presence of Joan Rivers. Without knowing the full facts behind this its a difficult one to call. We reckon it was just edged by Rihanna though in the battle of words itself – and its easy to forgive someone when they make such acerbic comments. In the make up too she did seem the one who was trying hardest to make piece, especially with this tweet (the mild sarcasm aside):
“Ciara baby, I love u girl! You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup”
We reckon they are just papering over the very clear cracks here though…we’d love to see this break out into a full scale Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj type affair, as this has been one of the most amusing and witty twitter battles in a long time.
