So Selena Gomez has annoyed Pink with her latest video. And when Pink get’s angry what does she do? Yes that’s right, she vents on Twitter as has now become the default for a celebrity.
To be fair though this isn’t just a mild complaint, nor is it a standard “I wore that wig first” kind of Minaj/Lil Kim affair, designed to get publicity for the person making the complaint. Instead Selena Gomez is being chewed out for animal cruelty, or at least not taking the opportunity to stop animal cruelty on the set of her latest video. Here’s what Pink had to say:
If there are any animal activists around Malibu – at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame… Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.
Interestingly Pink had no idea this was Selena’s record. That is of course until the “Let’s make Selena4ever trend #Selena4ever” twitter brigade got together to show their collective, only just post pubescent, might.

The abuse however continued, the logic seeming to be that because Selena is such a bloody downright talented little artist, who is in no way packaged or derivative, that she can get away with painting horses.
Now there is a defence here given by Digital Spy, namely that there is no evidence that the team has breached The American Humane Society’s guidelines. However, they were spotted painting horses. That’s pretty much enough to justify a tweet about it. I don’t need to dance in the third lane of a motorway to prove it’s harmful to me, similarly I don’t need to see guidelines from a society to know you should probably shouldn’t paint a horse.
However, one good thing did come out, we’ll have an amazing video for Love You Like A Love Song, which is bond to be a seminal piece.
If you feel like leaving some nasty comments about the obvious sarcasm in this article, just think before you do – is this the same type of group teen mentality that people sending death threats to Selena for going out with Justin Bieber displayed.

GOOD FOR YOU, PINK!! Selena Gomez should be ashamed of herself!! REGARDLESS of what her PR posse says about the paint being “airbrushed” on, I see the pink paint on the face and eyes of the horse, which means that this horse had to be subjected to colorful powdered paint being SPRAYED around, and possibly INTO, it’s eyes to be presented inr this DUMB video to prop up Selena’s ridiculously weak singing career! As pink said, SHAME!
…Additionally, it really sets a bad example to be painting horses a color that the animal doesn’t appear as in nature. Very unnatural, and this may give OTHERS ….and kids, the incentive to paint THEIR animals, and they may not have the forsight to used ‘vegetable based’ paint! HOW IRRESPONSIBLE CAN YOU BE, SELENA!! DISGUSTING.
…Maybe someone should paint Selena Pink, and spray powdered paint in her eyes for an hour…see how she’s like it!
