Finally the video for Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” has been released.

We’ve got to say though we’re pretty disappointed. From anyone else this would be a decent effort. However, from Lady Gaga it’s tame. We’d already become used to the fake horns attached to her face so there was nothing really to shock.
Remember when you first saw Telephone. It was like stepping into an alternative universe, trying to follow Lady Gaga’s twisted fantasy logic across ten minutes. We could watch the video on it’s own without the music and still be entertained. This is a bit more of a generic affair.
What’s most disappointing though is that the video doesn’t seem to have any mysterious, dark edge to it like she’s created in previous ones. If you take her interludes at the Monster Ball for example, there’s something downright scary about them.
This was bound to happen though. There’s no way she could up with the shocks so consistently.
