Katy Perry’s performance on Sesame Street was pretty good we thought…..but apparently producers are thinking of pulling her performance after a few complaints about the video. Though she is popping out, it would be a bit harsh to ban Miss Katy as Elmo calls her (soon to be Mrs Katy). Anyways…the video’s below along with a round up of our favourite music star performances on Sesame street….from Jonny Cash to Patti LaBelle.

- DESTINY’S CHILD – Before Beyonce really became Beyonce.
- TONY BENNETT – We like how he ignores the kid for a while when singing.
- JOHNNY CASH – He surely should have been an actor. It doesn’t seem to phase him one bit he’s talking to a puppet.
- RAY CHARLES – With a whole load of stars following.
- PATTI LABELLE – Again doing the alphabet. Never has “p” sounded so good.
- PAUL SIMON – With weird hair…and not really singing a song aimed at children.
- DIANA KRALL – For once Elmo fits into the song…rather than just being an annoyance.
- NORA JONES - At 1.45 Elmo seems to correct her prononciation of yogurt.
