Bear in mind the guy who went off wasn’t quite so dramatic. The guy was Chris Medina by the way – not that it really matters in this clip.
How did she explain the emotional outburst: “I’m used to having a script in a movie, or a big performance with a cane and a microphone, and I have all kinds of stuff going on … You’re [not always] getting me.” Yeah…usually you know you’re the star of the show, so no need to cry to get attention.
Maybe this is a bit harsh – but without Simon Cowell there American Idol seems to be missing something, and seems to be a bit soft. It needs a counterweight to the bullshit.
