Dr Dre and Eminem have finally teamed up again for their new track “I Need a Doctor”. It also features Skylar Grey. Frankly it’s pretty amazing. Here’s the video.
There’s been all sorts of rumours about beef between these two – but this video more than shows the two are closer than ever and Eminem still considers Dr Dre as the man who made him.
Yes the video is a bit over the top and a bit silly – but the cinematic retrospective at the beginning got us hooked in so much that we hardly noticed the slightly farcical route the video was taking. We did however notice how bloody hench Dr Dre is!
As for the song it seems to be classic Eminem mostly, once again teaming up with a female vocalist to off set his rapping (we’re glad he’s realised this is a winning formula as just him for four minutes does need something to break it up for most listeners).
Let’s hope there’s a few more collaborations to come between these two old friends.

The video is well worked, and bring back some old memories with the N.W.A
some really nice touches in there in the bits involving dre
With the supposed collabs in the album I expect detox to hopefully go down as the best hip-hop album of the year.
