Christina Aguilera Drunken Arrest – Can She Beat Britney Spears?

Christina Aguilera X FactorWell not anymore. This drunken arrest shenanigan has been the latest in months of gafss and strange behaviour that isn’t really showing signs of stopping.

The first show something might be wrong was her appearance on the X Factor where the nation collectively squinted at the TV to confirm it was actually her behind the weight gain.

Then was the muddling of the national anthem….a crime so large in America that is is, asĀ  previously pointed out, the equivalent of kicking an an animal on TV in the UK. Then came the falling over at the grammy’s, and later reports of wild sex in toilets and drunken antics.

Then came the arrest. Here’s what the police had to say about the most recent incident:

“At 2.45am this morning a gentleman was stopped for allegedly driving under the influence. He was subsequently arrested and his passenger, Ms Aguilera, she was arrested.

‘It was kind of a unique situation with this law as she was not capable of taking care of herself. She was incapacitated.

‘When she got out of the car, she couldn’t stand. We had to help her stand,” he added. ‘She didn’t know where she was and she didn’t know her own address. We took her into custody for her own protection.

‘She was co-operative and she was not belligerent in any way whatsoever. She was just intoxicated.’

Now we’ve all been there and we can’t help think 99 times out of 100 she’d have gotten away with this one. However, because its not an isolated incident and friends had as recently as last weekend been saying they were worried about her, there could be a glorious fall from grace in the offing here.

Our advice? If you’re going to do something wrong Christina, do it right. Go more crazy than Britney. Take a bic to your head not just clippers. Attack paps with an even bigger umbrella and inspire an even crazier fan to make a “Leeave Christina ALONNE!” youtube video.
