So here’s an image of Cheryl Cole without makeup which has been causing a bit of a row round our end.
The basic debate is this: is her fitness overrated or not? Now for my money, this is just an unfortunate picture. She was photographed pretty much constantly since her first year as a celeb, at all times of day, and pictures like this are few and far between. Well here’s a pic from more recently.
Now looking at this where she doesn’t seem to be wearing makeup (though I am prepared for girls to have a go at my naivety over this), she still looks far better than average and likely to be the best looking girl on any given street. You just can’t argue with her fitness surely! Still lots of people…including some here at TMM…reckon she’s not all that hot. Here’s a comment from TheStudentRoom.co.uk forum:

This is just one comment from the many of hundreds of threads out there. But to quote Pete Waterman when judging her first Pop Stars: The Rival auditions “You’d have to be dead to not think she was stunning…MY GOD”.
Maybe the problem is this…she sets the bar so high on the X Factor that when she is seen without makeup its the flaws that draw the eye.
As a disclaimer I’d like to point I’m not in love with Cherly Cole (Will.i.am is doing a good enough job of the love sick puppy for all of us) – in fact I think she’s become a pretty humourless character. The tide does seem to be turning against her a little in the media more generally too – but let’s not starting saying peole are ugly when they are clearly hot as!
Kimberley Walsh will always be the one for us though.

She just looks normal. Just ordinary. It’s the false lashes and all the eyeliner and shadow that give her the extra glam look. She’s not ugly, she’s…cute, I guess. I think we’ve all got used to her without makeup,

Wow sorry to say but cheryl is beautiful in face and aura, she always comes accross genuine. Louise you definatly have some deep jealousy issues as no one in their right mind could say shes a pile os s**t, ugly and talentless if this were the case she would not have made it so far.

why is it when a girl says something negative about another girl, jealousy is ALWAYS assumed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I agree with louise (although it may be a harsh judgment)cheryl cole is probably one of the most overrated people in the UK I don’t think shes that hot, a lot of her beauty is fake.

I agree with Kate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion its a free country and what one person may think won’t ever be the same as someone else. I think Cheryl aint ugly she is beautiful in her own way and has nice eyes , likewise everyone is beautiful in their own way . But she is definately overrated. Celebrities in general tbh including Cher ain’t all that without their make up. Also, it’t very true that you are the real you without make up. People are being deluded into thinking theyre ugly , ect comapred to these celebrites when its reality they have theyr fake and only who they really are without make-up. I’m going on a rant but yeah, had to be said.
