When Cher Lloyd left the X Factor we thought she’d get signed up to Will.i.am’s label or to Simon Cowell’s Syco. Well, she’s surprised us again by getting signed up with Jay-Z.
A source told the Sun:
“Even though Cher didn’t do terrifically well in ‘The X Factor’ finals, there’s been a hell of a lot of interest in her. All the labels are on the lookout for sassy, young female artists with bags of attitude, and Cher fits that bill perfectly. Will.i.am’s backing only intensified the battle to get her signature. After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality.”
Good for her we say – despite her Forest Gump monotone VTs before each performance on X Factor – you know the ones that made her seem a bit arrogant and dislikeable – she really grew on us as the series went on. If tweets from Will.i.am are anything to go by, she’ll still be getting to put out a release with him too very soon. Lucky girl.
The real problem though is when is Aiden Grimshaw going to be signed? The boy’s fans have more than proved themselves loyal to him as requests to get him signed just keep trending on twitter. It was a blip he left the show because everyone thought he was safe. It will be more than a blip if he doesn’t get signed.

Aiden Grimshaw should have been signed up straight away in my opinion, he is by far the best most gorgeous talent EVER to come out of th x factor and if he isn’t signed soon someone will be kicking themselves. A worldwide legend is what aiden Grimshaw is and is loved by millions

Aiden should be signed already. Iam from Spain but lived in the UK for two years and I watched this year´s X factor. If we had someone like Aiden over n Spain, first of all he would not had gone that soon and second he´d signed…..he deserves it

I agree Aiden needs to be signed, like it says here he has loads of dedicated fans i for one would buy ALL he released, it would be such a waste if he wasnt to get signed – he is truely amazing and unique!!

The trending on twitter already shows that Aiden would be a really successful artist. He has a huge fan base of very dedicated fans. He is different and quirky and a great talent will be lost if he isn’t signed. He has fans all over the world and his albums would surely be a great success! He is a very unique artist. Let’s hope that he gets signed in the new year!

At his audition Simon Cowell said “NOW THATS WHAT I CALL A POPSTAR!”
At judges home Danni Minougue said Aidens voice is “VERSATILLE FOR AN ALBUM!”
Aiden continued his fantastic performances through to the live shows and continued to get good comments
Louis Walsh described Aiden as “A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!” saying “YOU’VE GOT YOUR OWN KIND OF SWAGGER!” (Listening Cher Lloyd?)
Simon Cowell said that Aiden is “SO CURRENT!” and “ECSTATIC!”and described one of his performances as being “ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT!”
Cheryl Cole said “I CAN’T FAULT YOUR SINGING I THINK YOUR ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!”
and “YOUR REALLY CONSISTENTLY GOOD”
Louis Walsh also said “I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT YOU, I THINK YOU’RE THE PERFECT POPSTAR” and “ELTON WOULD LOVE THAT PERFORMANCE!”
Simon Cowell also said Aiden has “GREAT PRESENCE!” and explained how he “I LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE SOME SWAGGER!”
Aidens mentor Danni Minougue said “THATS LIKE MUSIC TOO MY EARS” as the audience chantted Aidens name over and over. She then praised Aiden saying “THAT WAS A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE!”
These are just a few of the brilliant comments Aiden recieved on the XFactor.
When the contestants in the final were asked what their favorite performances of the series were both Cher Lloyd and XFactor winner Matt Cardle chose Aidens ‘Mad World’ from week one, and Rebbeca Furgasson chose Aidens bootcamp song ‘This Years Love’.
So obviously the judges loved Aiden and so did the finallists… What about the public? hmmmmmm well Aiden currently has 167,847 followers SO THERE IS NO QUESTIONING HIS POPULARITY!!!
So why hasn’t he got a record deal yet!?!?!?!?!!?
I know that WHEN he gets a record deal I will be first in line to buy it!

Stuff Cher, yeah I like her, but come on. GET AIDEN SIGNED. I thin more people would be happy to get him signed, no offence. It would mean the world to Aiden ad it would make us Grimlings so happy!

The only reason all those sign Aiden whatever topics are trending all the time is because AIDEN is encouraging the people following him to trend them. Have you been to his twitter page? Everytime something about him is trending, he’s tweeted the topic on his twitter earlier and it doesn’t really take THAT many people to trend a topic. If fans manage to trend a topic without the famous persons help, THEN I will be impressed. Otherwise keep walking.

Jade- Aiden never starts the trending topics, he may have mentioned them once or twice, but all of the 17 or so aiden-related trends have been made up by the fans.

@Jade – The fans started the trending, not Aiden – Aiden obviously is encouraging it, who wouldn’t. Don’t make it sound like he’s doing a Katie Waisell and asking fans to do stuff for his publicity. I’ve met him and is the most humble guy. He is very thankful and doesn’t think he deserve any special treatment.
@Natilie you should youtube some of his recent gigs to see how ‘psycho-like’ he is – or isn’t. He is very versatile, very nice guy and I for one hope he has a great future in this industry. He will go far!!!
