Gabriela Irimia, half of the Cheeky Girls – the one who was going to marry Lembit Opik – has shown that she has a knack for popping up again and again in the news in increasingly bizarre ways. This time she has been cautioned for shoplifting in the Wimslow branch of Sainsbury’s. A spokeman said:
‘A 26-year-old woman from Essex was detained on suspicion of theft of grocery items. The woman was interviewed by police about the circumstances of the incident and subsequently given a caution for theft.’
Firstly. 26? Come on? Really? Secondly, apparently the value of the goods was only 40 quid! The goods included a large bottle of water, a small salad and skin moisturiser. Looks like the money from Touch My Bum (which sold over a million copies) has finally run out.
Sian Lloyd must once again be shaking her head. Did Lembit really leave him for her?
