Over half of the Forbes list of the Richest Women in Entertainment come from the pop world – with Beyonce putting in a particularly good performance while Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga have confirmed their positions as some of the most powerful people in music.
The one person pop will never beat though…Oprah. She’s still far ahead by a long way as she continues to dip her fingers in many pies (any pun on her former weight is purely incidental 
). Britney spears too showed she can still pile in the numbers – this is no doubt down to her Glee perforamances and her successful compilation, “The Singles Collection” released late last year. Her extensive back catalogue just keeps selling on its own too.
Here’s the full list:
1. Oprah – She is now just a force of nature in America.
2. Beyonce Knowles – Wonder who has more, her or Jay-Z?
3. Britney – Will just keep earning from inertia for the next 100 years.
4. Lady Gaga – Apparently now worth over $60 million, she’s a contender for second place in future years.
5. Madonna – Super competitive Madge must be a bit put out to come directly behind someone she paved the way for.
6. Sandra Bullock – Now she’s got an Academy Award to her name, shes going to be able to charge even more too.
7. Ellen DeGeneres – All over US TV right now.
8. Miley Cyrus – Her longevity is the most at risk out of everyone in the list.
9. Judge Judy – WTF!
10. Taylor Swift – She should be thanking Kanye.
