With Apple iTunes now getting 70% of all digital music downloads, we asked music fans what they wanted announced in the Steve Jobs’ January keynote to help the state of music…and you responded in your droves. Here’s a rundown of the results:
- 86% of people want a price match with Amazon’s services.
- 71% of people want Apple to reduce the restrictions on variable song and album pricing.
- 57% of people are unconcerned about easier integration with third party services.
Another notable suggestion that seemed to pique the interest of many was iTunes sample rate. An overwheleming concern is that this is not high enough for high quality audio downloads.
Now we know Steve Jobs is a fan of the site (cough)…so let’s hope he listens.
