The general feeling is Aiden Grimshaw went before his time on this year’s X Factor. The most probable explanation seems to be that he appeared to be safe..so people saved their votes for later weeks. Katie Waissel’s fans on the other hand were more than aware they had to pick up the phone.
Matt himself made his thoughts known on the judges sending Aiden to deadlock: “I thought it was a bad, bad decision. He is so talented. He and I had been through everything together.”
Grimshaw’s fans though have made up for this, forming an almost military operation of support, with Twitter being their main weapon. Currently #getgrimshawsigned is trending.
If this boy don’t get signed, he should just release something himself. Any album he releases bound to fly.

I’ve also helped in trending, i’m @AidenBunnyEars on twitter, Aiden is so genuine to his fans, and we ALL really believe he can be huge, he just needs the chance to show everyone. We all want this just as much as him! His voice is just amazing, quirky and unique, he will bring something different to the quite boring music industry at the moment. I’m hard of hearing, But ever since I saw Aiden on x-factor, I fell in love with his voice. I can hear him very clearly when he is singing which happens to me rarely. My favourite artist for past 10 years was Lee Ryan. He is just like Aiden – easy to hear. I have problems with music which means it take me a long time to hear it, learn the lyrics and know the song. Blue have released 3 albums and I’m still learning it!! I am now friend with Lee Ryan as he is helping my deaf group out which is amazing as he is my favourite! Aiden is my second.
Please give Aiden a recording contract! He is brilliant! x

Does anyone know how long he is tied to the XF recording contract? And will he be able to tell us ASAP if he gets signed? WE CAN’T WAIT.
Pop music world needs Aiden. More people like Aiden. That’s a genuine musician.. sigh. If only XF didn’t make him seem like the intense, dark person that he wasn’t.

We call ourselves his ‘grimlings’ most nights we try and trend on twitter things like #signgrimshawnow / #getgrimshawsigned. Im really happy that we’ve been noticed. We do it for Aiden because we believe that he has huge potential in the music industry, and we’re egre to get him that record deal!
