Before we jump into our thoughts on the new 30 Seconds to Mars song, here’s the clip from the in Mexico City. Enjoy:
Wow….we’ve kind of shied away from the band in the past but this is pretty bloody catchy. It’s bound to play hugely well on the Radio too, as it builds up to the huge hook. At the moment its trending on Twitter, even from this just one performance, which suggests 2011 is going to be another huge year for the band.
We’re particularly fond of the lyrics “One night .One night to change your life. One love .One love to loose your mind”, which is bound to become a mantra for their pretty devoted fan base.
There doesn’t seem to be a video available for the song as yet – but this is where the band really shine. Usually they come up with some quite distinctive. Their video for “From Yesterday” for example was the first to be filmed by a US band in China and racked up almost 14 minutes in length. Their video for “Hurricane” was even more remarkable, again going over ten minutes and having a cinematic quality about it…though it ended up getting heavily censored for its scenes of sex and violence.
In other news the band have been winning over some high profile fans as Rupert Grint has reportedly been seen at one of their concerts and having a pretty good time at the after party. We really never had him down as the type.

Not really sure what you’re talking about dude. This sounds like a killer beginning to a song but it literally goes no where. I’m interested to actually hear the song, but that was prtty lame and if that is indeed the whole song, thats beyond sad. All of the THIS IS WAR album is unbelievably awesome and epic. That sounded just like it could have easily been a b side. Hope it’s just the beginning and that more news will come soon.
